we like these because the color is nice, they stack, and they have proven to hold up well in a very heavy traffic coffee house/restaurant. we've tried a lot of other chairs, often much more expensive and they always break. these do not break! on top of that, they're actually really comfortable! our only con is that they're a little wide. so using them for a party where I need to squeeze a lot of people in a small space is not possible. also, they're not pretty. they are a modern simple looking chair, so they might not fit you decor.

These chairs look great and are very sturdy. We live in a new condo with modern decor, lots of light wood and brushed nickel and these chairs fit right it -- except for the assembly hardware, which is my only complaint. The bolts that hold the chair together have exposed heads; it really adds to the modern look of the chair, but they are brass, which clashes with the light brushed nickel found everywhere else in our place. It seems a shame that such a modern looking chair has such stodgy brass hardware.We asked before purchasing if there were any other hardware colors available, but alas, no. We looked at [...] and online to find brushed nickel hardware, also to no avail.Next weekend's chore is to test spray painting them with a satin nickel paint to cover the brass. Here's hoping!The chairs are very light (they can easily be picked up one-handed) yet rock-solid in the feel of their construction. While we don't stack them, it's nice to know that's an option.
